Business Philosophy

Since 1919, Hierl Insurance, Inc. has made a commitment to developing excellent relationships, not only with our customers, but also with our carriers. We choose not to write every business that approaches us to manage their insurance program; instead, we are selective and prefer to work with companies that wish to establish long-term relationships built on trust, integrity, professional advice, and sound business practices.

Today’s competitive pressures are forcing businesses to scrutinize the price they pay for the products and services they buy, and to evaluate professional relationships like never before. Insurance and Human Resource services are no exception.

Traditionally, many midsize companies have held the belief that the best way to drive costs down is by conducting a bid process. Under this process, multiple brokers are invited to compete and submit bids for the company’s insurance.

Competition is an essential tool in helping buyers evaluate professionals, identify new products and establish price/value relationships. But, in today’s insurance marketplace, the bidding process is no longer the best way to achieve the optimum results.

Service to our Customers

Hierl Insurance is in the service business. We manufacture no product. For the most part, we act as an intermediary between our client and an insurance company to provide a contract of protection. We act as an agent for our client through the term of that contract, turning promises into fact. We are committed to making our clients feel as though they are receiving special treatment in all aspects of the service we provide. We believe every Hierl Insurance client should be treated with the same kindness and consideration, as an honored guest would receive in our own home.
